Broccoli sprout refers to 2-6 days of growth from seed. Broccoli sprouts are the young stems and leaves formed after the germination of the seeds. In 1997, Professor Talalay's research team found that broccoli sprouts contained high level of sulforaphane, at least 20 times higher than mature broccoli. After the report of the research results, broccoli sprout was regarded as a super healthy vegetable that can prevent cancer. Then, it caused a consumption in American with a strong sense of health crisis at that time, and quickly spread to Japan across the Pacific Ocean. Normal adults need 1.2kg of mature broccoli per day or 60g broccoli sprout per day to gain enough sulforaphane, so broccoli sprouts are the most cost-effective way to get sulforaphane.

With the gradual development of the broccoli industry, research has found that among all kinds of broccoli products, the most direct anti-cancer product is not the broccoli vegetable itself, but the broccoli sprouts with higher content of sulforaphane. Broccoli sprouts are rich in glucoraphanin and myrosinase. It's the most cost-effective convert glucoraphanin to sulforaphane, and broccoli sprouts seedlings relatively affordable, so the broccoli sprouts is the  most valuable way to get sulforaphane.

The proper way to eat broccoli sprouts:

① Raw food, heated cooking will make part of sulforaphane loss.

② Full chewing, so that the glucoraphanin and myrosinase in the sprouts are fully released and contact to produce sulforaphane.

Ingredients: Broccoli sprouts, any vegetables, fruits and nuts you like.

Practice: Wash all vegetables and fruits, cut into small pieces, put them on a plate. Then sprinkle with the washed broccoli sprouts and mix well.
