Sulforaphane (SFN) does not exist intact in vegetables but is formed from glucoraphanin after hydrolysis with myrosinase or human intestinal enzymes. Glucoraphanin exists in many Brassicaceae plants for example cabbage, mustard, cabbage, kale, and cauliflower. If you want to get sulforaphane you have two choices: (1) Getting glucoraphanin, whcih hydrolyzed into sulforaphane under the action of myrosinase or human intestinal enzymes; (2) Eating broccoli sprout which is rich in sulforaphane.


THE SOURCE OF SULFORAPHANE

On the one hand , a large number of basic experimental studies and clinical trials around the world have proved that sulforaphane has significant preventive and adjuvant therapeutic effects on almost all cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, stomach cancer, skin cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer and pancreatic cancer, and it can effectively reduce the risk of tumor. On the other hand, sulforaphane has a positive effect on the prevention and treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, neuropsychiatric diseases and metabolic syndrome caused by obesity.
